Westport GAA have again reiterated their commitment to the ongoing educational development of its players and members by announcing details of the 2024/2025 Bursary scheme. Westport GAA, in conjunction with Portwest, will award a limited number of bursaries to students attending Higher Education colleges.

The scheme is open to members of the Association who are attending a full-time Higher Education course and who are active participants in Westport GAA Club. Recipients will again be selected based on a range of criteria, including their playing, coaching or administrative commitments to the GAA. Bursary recipients are reminded that they MUST be actively involved with their club section during the 2025 season. Students who hold other GAA-related or college scholarship/bursary will not be eligible to apply.
