Following a well attended online Westport GAA Club meeting a decision was approved to lodge planning permission before Christmas for a new Croke Park sized pitch development on the Golf Course Rd Westport.

The growth of the club in recent years has led to this need to seek additional playing facilities, to those which we already have, informing future direction of the organisation for the next 20 years or so.

The attached video gives an idea of the final look of the aspirational development which of course will be subject to planning. Westport GAA would like to thank project manager Danny Mc Laughlin and all the project team for their persistence and hard work to date.

To bring this project to finality will require the input of all strands of the club, membership, supporters and friends in fundraising efforts to make sure it becomes a reality.

This proposed development underlines the ambition of Westport GAA and as our tagline says We are Building for the Future.
